Position Overview
The Litigation Paralegal assists attorneys with managing personal injury cases in pre-litigation and during litigation, with a primary focus on Tier 1 Arbitration cases. This includes claim investigation, evidence and records gathering, settlement demand preparation, drafting, preparing discovery, scheduling, client communication, and overall case file preparation. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and able to handle multiple deadlines.---
Responsibilities
· Handle a personal injury litigation caseload through arbitration
· Manage deadlines, and scheduling
· Draft and prepare settlement demand materials, discovery, and pleadings
· Assist with arbitration preparation, including organizing an arbitration binder
· Request, organize, and summarize medical records and bills
· Conduct regularly scheduled file reviews with handling attorneys
· Coordinate depositions, mediations, client meetings, and arbitration hearings
· Maintain organized paperless case files & document storage
· Communicate regularly with clients about case updates & scheduling
· Work closely with attorneys and legal assistants to support case progression---
Qualifications
· 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience (personal injury preferred)
· Strong understanding of Arizona civil procedure and arbitration timelines
· Proficient with case management systems and Microsoft Office
· Excellent organization, writing, and communication skills
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
· Detail-focused and able to work independently in a growing firm environment---
