Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial environments, demonstrating proficiency in working with various electrical systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems to ensure safe and effective operation.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to build and modify electrical systems as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on construction sites to maintain a safe work environment.
- Installation of standby generators to include wiring of transfer switches and running gas line
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician in residential and commercial settings is preferred. MINIMUM OF FIVE YEARS IN THE FIELD EXPERIENCE.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components including wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Familiarity with using various tools including voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, as well as hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical work are a plus.
- Excellent customer service.
