Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, steering, suspension, and powertrain components.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to interpret vehicle wiring diagrams and repair procedures efficiently.
- Repair or replace components using hand tools and power tools, ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct wheel alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and diesel engine repairs as needed.
- Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including sensors, wiring harnesses, and control modules.
- Maintain detailed service records, prepare auto estimating reports, and communicate repair progress clearly with customers.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or automotive service technician experience with a strong background in GM vehicles preferred.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs.
- Familiarity with schematics, automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Experience working with ADAS technology, wheel alignments, diesel engines, welding techniques, and auto estimating software is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools required for daily tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training; ASE certification is a plus.

Pay: $28.92 - $50.00 per hour
