Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team! In this vital role, you will ensure residential and commercial spaces are spotless, sanitized, and welcoming. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our clients.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain high hygiene standards
- Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or supplies while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including sweeping walkways or patios
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction
Requirements:
- A thorough background check will be performed due to the sensitivity of the client
- You are responsible to for parking
- Strict dress code enforcement
- Strict cell phone policy
- Strict set break time
- Any bags brought in to the site must be transparent
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Excellent time management skills and reliability.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning practices.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or janitorial cleaning with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation standards, and surface care techniques
- Ability to perform floor cleaning and floor care using appropriate equipment
- Skilled in laundry procedures and handling various fabrics with care
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary
