Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Electronics Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electronic components and devices with precision and efficiency, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and experience working with various assembly techniques. Duties
- Assemble electronic products by following detailed schematics, technical drawings, and IPC 610 standards for electronic assembly.
- Use calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement tools to verify component placement and electrical connections.
- Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to accurately wire electrical components and assemblies.
- Operate machining equipment and mechanical tools to prepare parts for assembly or modification.
- Conduct visual inspections of assembled units to ensure compliance with IPC 610 standards and quality requirements.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for testing or troubleshooting assembled systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols related to electrical and mechanical work.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues using multimeters, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve assembly processes and implement best practices.
Experience
- Prior experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, schematics interpretation, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement instruments.
- Understanding of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in machining or working with mechanical components is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions and technical documentation.
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
