Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods following safety standards
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met at all times
Requirements
- Previous café or food industry experience preferred; barista experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication
- Basic math skills for sales transactions, retail math calculations, and cash handling
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable team player committed to delivering an outstanding guest experience
