Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging in-home consultations to assess clients’ design preferences, space requirements, and renovation goals.
- Create detailed layout designs using tools like CAD software to visualize concepts clearly for clients.
- Present product demos and lighting solutions that enhance the aesthetic and functionality of each space.
- Develop customized proposals by upselling complementary products and services that meet client needs while maximizing sales opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and deal closing to secure customer commitments confidently.
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, follow-up, and personalized service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Manage project timelines, coordinate with contractors or vendors when necessary, and oversee installation or remodeling processes to ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales or inside sales within the renovation, construction, or interior design industries.
- Proficiency with SketchUp, CAD, Microsoft Office suite, CRM systems, and POS platforms for seamless client management and product demonstrations.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-end sales and upselling additional products or services.
- Knowledge of remodeling processes, construction experience, lighting design, fixture sales, and maintenance is highly desirable.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse client bases effectively.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to clearly articulate design ideas and build rapport with clients.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for measurements, pricing calculations, and retail math applications in sales scenarios.
- Customer service orientation with a passion for creating exceptional client experiences from initial consultation through project completion.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
