BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Firefighter 1 & 2 Certification, EMT Certification, Hazmat Certification, and CPR Card for Healthcare Providers.
The Vernon Fire District is actively recruiting for Reserve Firefighter/EMT positions. The Vernon Fire Station is manned 24/7 with three full-time firefighters each shift.
We are seeking active, energetic, certified individuals who are interested in supporting the Vernon Fire District and surrounding response area while supplementing their income.
The Reserve Firefighter/EMT position starts at $17.00 per hour. Reserves will be offered shifts and coverage for full-time staff during their absence. Vernon Fire District requires Reserve Firefighter/EMTs to work one shift per month.
