A Seattle-based litigation firm is seeking a Temporary Litigation Paralegal (5086) to provide coverage for an upcoming parental leave. This assignment is expected to begin in late June or early July to allow for overlap and training with the current paralegal before their leave begins. The role will likely last approximately 18 weeks, with the potential for extension depending on scheduling and leave timing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide litigation paralegal support across active case matters
- Assist with discovery, document organization, and case file management
- Prepare and organize materials for depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
- Coordinate with attorneys and legal assistants to support case strategy and workflow
- Draft and organize pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Maintain organized case files and track deadlines
- Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel as directed by attorneys
Qualifications
- Prior litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and case management processes
- Excellent organizational and document management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a litigation team

Compensation: $30.00 to $40.00 Hourly, DOE
