How would you contribute?
This role is a contributing member of our Airlite Plastics Team, located in Omaha, NE. As a Warehouser you are a key to continued growth and success of Airlite. Warehousers receive, store, and distribute products within the warehouse and load onto trailers for shipment. Warehousers use multiple types of Motorized Rolling Stock (MRS) including high reach lifts to move product and may hand stack pallets to meet customer specifications. Warehousers will use detail orientated and technology skills to use a combination of RF scan gun and manual logs to accurately track, move, and ship inventory.
Essential Duties:
- Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup with high accuracy, following all schedules and established procedures.
- Process UPS and air freight shipments according to specific carrier requirements and company procedures.
- Record product movement (storing, moving, or shipping) using scanners and computer systems to ensure real-time inventory precision.
- Operate heavy equipment, including forklifts, electric, and hand pallet jacks, to safely transport products to designated staging or storage zones.
- Execute loading and unloading of freight, utilizing a combination of mechanized equipment and manual labor ("lumping") as required.
- Inspect orders for accuracy, meticulously verifying product types, quantities, and ensuring all labeling is correct before shipment.
- Verify shipment details against manifests, confirming that all boxes and pallets are correctly marked and match the documentation.
- Provide support to other functional areas as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Maintain company attendance and reliability standards.
- Report food safety concerns to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Able to use ERP software, computer, and scanning equipment to move and log inventory accurately.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Forklift Certification maintained throughout duration of role.

High reach fork-truck experience preferred but not required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role does not have personnel supervisory responsibilities; however, this role includes working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hand dexterity to operate office equipment including computer keyboards; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is seasonally and moderately exposed to humid conditions and heat. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to height of 8-10 feet and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is loud.
