We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to bridge the gap between our internal office digital workflows and physical production floor operations by managing tasks both at an office workstation and directly on the production floor.
Job Title: Operations and Production Assistannt
Classification: Nonexempt
Facility: Tipp City, Ohio
Department: OH CSR
Reports to: RFID Manager
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm
Key Responsibilities
· Data Management: Utilize advanced Excel functions (such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas) to analyze scans, log production metrics, and update shipments.
· Production Floor Responsibilities: Spend a portion of the day on the production floor reviewing checks, learning the scanning equipment, verifying inventory counts, and QC inspection during packing shipments.
· Process Reconciliation: Cross-reference physical production outputs against system logs to identify, investigate, and correct discrepancies.
· Reporting: Generate daily shipments to meet required output metrics.
Required Qualifications
· Excel Proficiency: Proven experience managing spreadsheets, organizing large data sets, and using intermediate-to-advanced Excel formulas.
· Detail-Driven Mindset: High level of accuracy in data entry and a natural ability to spot minor inconsistencies in fast-paced environments.
· Adaptability: Comfort moving frequently between a quiet office desk and a loud, active production floor.
· Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with both data analysts in the office and machinery operators on the floor.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand and walk on the production floor for extended periods.
· Comfort working around manufacturing equipment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
