Security Officer - Driver Checkpoint
As a Security Officer - Driver Checkpoint in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Our Security Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents while screening people and/or vehicles entering the site. This driving post combines visibility, customer service, and clear communication with Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach, supported by teamwork, a caring culture, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Screen employees, visitors, and/or drivers entering or exiting the location, including verification of credentials, screening requirements, and authorized access procedures.

Monitor entry and exit points, inspect packages and/or personal belongings as directed by site policy, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support security-related operations.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

A guard card is required.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
