We're a privately owned family and cosmetic dental practice with one doctor, one location, and a team that genuinely likes coming to work. Our office runs on warmth and positive energy — we laugh a lot, we help each other without being asked, and we treat patients the way we'd want our own families treated. Many of our patients have been with us for years, and they know our team by name.
We're looking for an experienced dental assistant who brings that same energy: someone upbeat, kind, and steady, who makes both patients and coworkers feel at ease.
The schedule is 2 days per week (between Monday and Wednesday), with the possibility of additional days over time.
What You'll Do
- Welcome and seat patients, and help them feel comfortable and cared for
- Assist the dentist chairside through four-handed dentistry
- Set up, sterilize, and break down instruments, trays, and operatories
- Expose dental X-rays and care for imaging equipment
- Maintain infection control standards throughout the office
- Record medical and dental histories and keep patient charts accurate
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and home care
- Provide post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist
- Keep operatories clean, stocked, and ready
What We're Looking For
- A positive, warm presence — you set patients at ease and lift the room
- Proven experience as a dental assistant (2+ years in a dental practice preferred)
- Experienced taking dental X-rays
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
- A true team player — you pitch in wherever needed, without being asked
- Reliable, punctual, and self-directed
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Eaglesoft experience a plus
