Material Handler

Extreme Steel, Inc. is a growing AISC-certified structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabricator and erector serving the DC, Virginia, and Maryland areas. We are looking for motivated, dependable individuals to join our team as Material Handlers.
What You'll Do
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
- Distribute materials throughout the facility using overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Organize and stage materials to support production and fabrication operations.
- Read and follow work instructions to ensure materials are handled accurately.
- Assist with general shop and warehouse operations as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand work instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes preferred.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
