Job Overview
LPL Financial Corp is seeking a collaborative and experienced Scrum Master to support Agile development teams in delivering high-quality, customer-focused technology solutions. In this role, you will help foster a culture of continuous improvement, promote effective Agile practices, and enable teams to perform at their best in a supportive and transparent environment.
Role Scope
Individual Contributor (IC) role with no direct people management responsibilities
Supports multiple Agile teams and may provide informal mentorship to peers
Partners with Product and Engineering stakeholders to enhance Agile maturity and delivery effectiveness
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Coach teams on Agile principles, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP), and best practices
Identify and help resolve impediments to support team progress and productivity
Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a prioritized and well-defined backlog
Promote team ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement
Track and communicate team progress, metrics, and risks to stakeholders
Foster a transparent, inclusive, and collaborative team environment
Help maintain team focus by minimizing disruptions and managing dependencies
Facilitate effective communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution
Support adoption of DevOps practices and CI/CD processes
Required Qualifications
Experience serving as a Scrum Master in a software development environment
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), or equivalent certification
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks
Demonstrated ability to coach teams and facilitate collaboration
Experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting multiple Agile teams concurrently
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD environments
Familiarity with applying AI tools or techniques within the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience in financial services or a regulated industry
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Pay Range:
$112,682.00 - $187,872.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
