Job Overview
We are seeking dynamic and dedicated Lead Teachers to inspire and guide young learners in a vibrant educational environment. We are looking for someone that is a highly motivated, self-starter who has a passion to educate and impact the lives of young children. The Lead Teacher will play a pivotal role in managing classroom activities, creating lessons, and fostering an inclusive atmosphere that promotes developmental growth for all students. The Lead Teacher Must hold a minimum of a CDA, or Associate degree in ECE.
Duties
- Must attend all mandatory training and team meetings given by administrator.
- Participates in community events for all centers during the year.
- Greet parents & children with a warm smile, and a friendly/brief informative conversation.
- Organize children’s belongings.
- Maintain a , clutter free, and organized classroom, bathroom and eating areas. May also be assigned to complete the opening/closing checklist: sanitize toys and cots, wash dishes, put away dishes, clean kitchen and clean out refrigerator, clean toilets and sinks, fill bleach bottles, sweep and mop floors, etc.
- Update all bulletin boards & rearrange classroom to meet the needs of the children at least quarterly
- Orders classroom supplies and communicates any maintenance issues to administrator.
- Communicates effectively with students, peers, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis and in a positive manner
- Adhere to all center policies and procedures including the classroom management and confidentiality policies
Experience
- Must hold a minimum of a CDA, or Associate degree in ECE.
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings or elementary schools.
