Overview
Kona Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join its 11-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit. Duties
- Perform patient admissions, daily assessments, and discharges.
- Provide care for adult behavioral health patients.
- Care for patients with dual diagnoses, including psychiatric and chemical dependency disorders.
- Work safely and effectively with forensic patients.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide patient-centered psychiatric care.
Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN License
- Minimum 2 years of recent Behavioral Health/Psychiatric RN experience
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or equivalent certification prior to the start date
- Experience working with dual-diagnosis and chemically dependent patients
- Comfortable caring for forensic patients
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Pay: $2,300.00 - $2,500.00 per week
