- Taxable Pay: $640/week ($16/hour)

We are seeking an experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician to support daily inpatient pharmacy operations in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong inpatient pharmacy experience and be comfortable working with Pyxis/automated dispensing systems, medication distribution, inventory management, and pharmacy workflow operations.Key Responsibilities
- Support daily inpatient pharmacy medication distribution and delivery.
- Transport and deliver medications throughout the hospital, including STAT and IV medications.
- Ensure medications are delivered before scheduled administration times.
- Return medications from discharged patients to the pharmacy.
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant medication rooms.
- Assist with Pyxis and Automated Dispensing Cabinet (ADC) replenishment.
- Assist with ADS loads, stockouts, critical inventory needs, and medication discrepancies.
- Sort and organize medications into appropriate unit bins.
- Support central pharmacy and carousel inventory operations.
- Return unused medications to inventory and assist with medication restocking.
- Receive and stock medication orders.
- Assist with code tray inventory and processing.
- Perform cycle counts, inventory moves, stock rotation, and expiration monitoring.
- Support pre-packaging and labeling activities.
- Assist with pneumatic tube station workflows.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to medication distribution, inventory, returns, and deliveries.
- Support pharmacy operational workflows and communicate effectively with pharmacists and pharmacy staff.
- Follow hospital policies, medication safety standards, USP requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of inpatient pharmacy technician experience
- Experience working in a hospital/inpatient pharmacy environment
- Experience with Pyxis or automated dispensing cabinets
- Strong medication distribution and inventory management experience
Required Licenses & Certifications
- Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification – CPhT or ExCPT
- BLS
