Job Summary
Our company is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious on-call Tractor Truck Driver to support hauling and transport operations as needed. The driver will be responsible for operating a tractor truck safely and efficiently, ensuring timely movement of materials and equipment to designated job sites, including locations requiring base access.
Responsibilities
- Operate tractor truck and related equipment in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from designated locations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report mechanical issues promptly.
- Secure loads properly and ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and required documentation.
- Follow established routes and schedules while adapting to site conditions as needed.
- Uphold professional conduct when interfacing with clients, base personnel, and team members.
Requirements
- Valid Guam Drivers license with a 'C' endorsement (mandatory).
- Clean driving record; must meet eligibility requirements for military base access.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience operating heavy vehicles or tractor trucks (preferred).
- Ability to conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and identify basic mechanical issues.
- Physically able to lift, secure loads, and work in varying outdoor conditions.
- Strong attention to safety, situational awareness, and communication skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility are essential.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
