Asphalt Estimator / Project Manager
Hux Contracting is seeking an experienced Asphalt Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
- Estimate asphalt paving, stone base, and concrete work for private and commercial projects
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Prepare competitive bids and proposals
- Manage projects from award through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication
- Monitor job costs and profitability throughout each project
Qualifications
- Experience estimating asphalt paving, stone base, and concrete projects is required
- Proficient in takeoff software and construction estimating
- Strong understanding of private and commercial sitework construction
- DOT estimating and project management experience is a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
