Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs for precision machined components. This role will primarily use Mastercam to create efficient programs for CNC mills and lathes while working closely with machinists and engineering to ensure high-quality production.
Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam.
- Develop toolpaths for CNC milling and turning operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T.
- Select tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies to maximize efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and improve existing CNC programs to reduce cycle times and increase productivity.
- Support machine setups and first-piece inspections.
- Verify part quality using precision measuring equipment.
- Maintain organized program documentation and revisions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Follow all safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Mastercam is required.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and workholding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
- Experience programming CNC mills and/or lathes.
- Familiarity with Haas and Fanuc controls is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
