Qualifications
Must be bilingual speak English and Spanish
- Experience supervising construction job sites, preferably in stucco, masonry, or related trades, with strong knowledge of field operations and workflow.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules, and to plan daily activities accordingly.
- Solid understanding of construction safety practices and regulations, with a track record of enforcing safety standards on site.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including experience coordinating crews, materials deliveries, and equipment usage.
- Effective communication skills for working with crews, subcontractors, project managers, inspectors, and clients.
- Proficiency in basic reporting and documentation, such as daily logs, progress reports, and issue tracking, using paper or digital tools.
- Hands-on background in stucco, masonry, or general construction is highly beneficial; prior experience as a foreman or lead is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between job sites in the Houston area.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in construction management or safety (e.g., OSHA) are a plus.
- Conduct regular inspections of industrial equipment, welding processes, and manual handling procedures to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Manage logistics for heavy lifting operations, machine drilling activities, and the transportation of materials using surface mining equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to plan drilling in mining environments, ensuring precision and adherence to safety protocols.
