Job Summary

You'll be a W-2 employee (not a contractor), with care coordination, scheduling, and documentation supported by our team and technology. This role focuses on providing comprehensive support and education to postpartum and obstetric patients, ensuring they receive exceptional care during one of the most critical phases of motherhood. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, cultural competence, and a passion for improving maternal and neonatal outcomes. A dedicated and compassionate Postpartum & Maternal Health Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare team.

- Provide culturally sensitive health education tailored to diverse populations, emphasizing public health principles.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including nurses, obstetricians, pediatricians, and social workers—to develop individualized care plans.
- Engage in data analysis and case management activities to track patient progress and improve service delivery.
- Support clients through labor & delivery processes, ensuring adherence to best practices in maternal and neonatal care.
- Facilitate public speaking engagements and presentations on maternal health topics for community outreach or professional development.
- Assist with client communication efforts by providing clear, empathetic information about postpartum recovery, nutrition, and breastfeeding techniques.
- knowledge of obstetrics, neonatology, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to maternal health.
- Proven experience working with obstetric patients during prenatal and postpartum periods; labor & delivery experience highly valued.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex health information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and data management purposes.
