About the Opportunity
We are building a curated roster of qualified private chefs to support upcoming full-time placements and private events as opportunities arise. This position is not an immediate hire, although it may be, but rather an opportunity to be considered for future openings as they become available.
Chefs accepted into our roster will be contacted when placements or events align with their availability, experience, and location.
This is ideal for professional chefs seeking flexible, high-paying contract work in private homes and event-based settings.
Compensation
- Full-Time Private Chef Placements: up to $550 per day
- Private Events: $60+ per hour plus tips
- Compensation varies depending on position, scope, and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality meals tailored to client preferences and dietary needs
- Execute private in-home dining experiences and event services
- Maintain professional kitchen standards, cleanliness, and food safety
- Communicate clearly with clients and scheduling coordinators
- Represent the company with professionalism and discretion
Requirements
- Proven experience as a professional chef (private, restaurant, or catering experience preferred)
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and short-notice requests
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently as a contractor
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and communication skills
Independent Contractor Status
This role is offered strictly on an independent contractor basis. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, personal insurance, and compliance with applicable laws.
