Job Summary
Prominent Peninsula-based racing manufacturer seeks a Customer Service Rep to provide pre and post-customer support for powersports industry aftermarket components. This position takes lead and direction from the CS Manager. The CS Rep communicates not only with customers and prospects, but also with internal stakeholders such as Engineering and Manufacturing.

Prefer prior experience supporting or selling hard goods (inventoried items). Applicants who qualify will be given a series of interviews on the phone and in person. Finalists will be required to demonstrate real-world problem solving and customer communications skills. Applicants must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area, and have permanent resident or citizenship status.
Responsibilities
- Answer phone/email inquiries regarding pricing and availability of stock components
- Work with customers to arrive at an optimal product solution based on their needs
- Answer inquiries regarding status of orders and product returns
- Perform end-of-day invoicing
- Handle inquiries regarding product returns (warranty work)
- Provide light backup for other office functions when staff is out sick or on vacation
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or greater
- 3-5 years' experience working in sales or customer service
- Sold or supported technical products
- Ability to comprehend and master basic mechanical engineering concepts(precise measurements, tolerances, metallurgy, internal combustion engines)

- Above average written and verbal communication skills (WE ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THIS)

Pay: Up to $52,000.00 per year
