Duties
- Conduct nightly audits using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA to reconcile accounts and verify daily financial transactions accurately.
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems with professionalism and warmth.
- Provide outstanding guest services by addressing guest needs promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining positive guest relations through excellent customer service problem-solving.
- Ensure hotel safety by following established emergency procedures, monitoring security cameras, and conducting property inspections to maintain a secure environment.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure smooth handovers and accurate record-keeping.
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members in multiple languages or bilingual settings to enhance client communication and overall hospitality experience.
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when handling reservations, inquiries, or emergencies via phone communication channels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality roles, especially in front desk or night audit positions.
- Familiarity with hotel reservation systems such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS).
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem-solving abilities.
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly preferred to serve diverse clientele effectively.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest and staff security during overnight shifts.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction via phone and face-to-face, demonstrating professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently during night hours while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
