We are hiring for part time but depending on your work we can go talk about moving towards full time.
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON THE WEEKENDS !!
Responsibilities
- Assist with animal husbandry tasks including feeding, watering, and general animal care to ensure health and well-being
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, tractors, and other farm machinery is a plus but not required.
- Perform routine maintenance on fences, livestock enclosures, greenhouses, and irrigation systems
- Handle heavy lifting tasks required for loading supplies or moving materials around the farm
- Supervise or collaborate with team members during daily operations to ensure safety protocols are followed
Qualifications
- Prior supervising experience or leadership skills in a farm or agricultural setting is preferred
- Hands-on animal husbandry skills including animal handling and care for livestock such as cows
- Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely; certification is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and general maintenance tasks
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in various weather conditions
