Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with 1-3 years of experience to join our talented design team. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, construction document production, client interactions and team management. This individual will be responsible for managing a team to produce projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all designs align with the client's vision and budget.
Duties
- Assist in managing our team of designers and interns to keep all projects moving forward.
- Collaborate with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and budget for interior design projects.
- Draft detailed design plans using CAD, and additional software to visualize concepts.
- Select appropriate materials, furnishings, color schemes, and lighting to enhance the overall design.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Prepare presentations for clients that effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and make necessary adjustments throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative design solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in interior design, project management, or related roles is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in design software such as CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with clients and team members.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work that demonstrates creativity and technical proficiency is required.
