JOB The Tekipanowame Tekilta Vetchi’ivo (Work Towards Employment) Program case manager is responsible for primarily providing case management services to non-TANF, tribal member households who are not eligible for Y.O.E.M.E. Services or General Assistance Services due to not meeting eligibility requirements for these programs. Besides case management, the nature of the job is informed by the need to provide comparable TANF and General Assistance type services that also include access to workforce development training to include workforce readiness skills, work experience, and on-the-job training to non-TANF and non-General Assistance tribal households. The program is funded by tribal funding and Native Employment Works (NEW) funding that allows for more flexible access to the general tribal member community population. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Assist the Social Services Division Administrative Team to develop evidence-based organizational program deliverable frameworks for Non-TANF and Non-General Assistance recipients

Report directly to the Social Services Division Deputy Director and collaborate with the Social Services Administrative Program Analyst on program implementation and assigned duties.

Work within the programmatic context of the Social Services Division’s system of care continuum and the Tribal Council strategic priorities and initiatives that are community development driven utilizing culturally responsive frameworks

Prepare monthly reports on staff activities, client progress, and program activities; collect activity logs and analyze statistical information for presentation in reports.

Perform liaison activities, coordinate activities with other Tribal departments, and external agencies, and act as a representative of the department.

Assist the Adult Services Program to develop a strategic plan and implement accordingly for the program

Perform other duties of a similar nature or level as requested by supervisor or director.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Associate Degree in social work or comparable discipline, with three (3) years of coordination experience in Social Service; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Special Requirements:-
Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver’s License;

This position will require the incumbent to work non-traditional hours, nights, and weekends;

Must have a current Level 1 Arizona Clearance Card or be able to obtain the Level 1 Arizona Clearance Card within ninety (90) days of hire. Failure to maintain a current Level 1 Clearance Card will result in termination.
