We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team.
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and managing key accounts within your assigned region. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent sales skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
This position plays a critical role and is responsible for making LSI a market leader in the individual ancillary and long-term care worksite space. This individual will be part of a rapidly growing business unit that will execute on LSIs national broker distribution strategy with National Marketing Organizations (NMO’s), Field Marketing Organizations (FMO’s) and other topline distributors. The Manager will be responsible for training, and to motivate, a group of external distributors/wholesalers that will deliver industry leading results via business development activities.

Prospect, appoint and manage agency relationships to achieve sales and profitability objectives

Develop and execute a market level distribution strategy that drives significant sales growth of ancillary products within assigned region and accounts

Build and maintain strong, focused relationships with distributors at all levels

Train current, and new, NMO’s and FMO’s along with their downstream agencies on LSI’s policies and procedures

Partner with internal business units to participate in the planning and execution of business strategies to drive sales and profitable growth

Develop and execute sales plan with each NMO and FMO partner to help contribute to the corporate objective of increasing growth over both the short and long term

Maintain knowledge and keep current on local market trends, competitive intelligence, core product strategies, and other market indicators to ensure a competitive advantage

Develop and manage a budget

Represent LSI at trade shows and industry events

Other duties, as assigned to support the company sales and growth objectives

Four (4) year college degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Management or equivalent work experience; advanced degree is highly desirable

5 or more years of experience in sales, healthcare or the FMO’s distribution
-
Proven ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills to drive positive outcomes with key NMO partners

Ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external partners, driving positive energy through influential leadership

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation and public speaking skills

Proven project, time management, presentation and communication skills
