What You’ll Do (The Fun Stuff)
As a Guest Services Team Member, you are the heartbeat of the hotel. Your day-to-day will include:
- Guest Champions: Greet guests with a warm smile, handle smooth check-ins/check-outs, and act as the local concierge for the best dining and spots in Clear Lake.
- Sales Stars: Answer phone inquiries and walk-ins using our proven brand script. You’ll get training to master the art of upselling and closing the sale!
- Financial Guardians: Process payments, manage a daily house bank, and ensure guest accounts are perfectly balanced.
- The Ultimate Team Player: Act as the communication hub between housekeeping and maintenance, and help keep our lobby, coffee station, and breakfast areas looking sharp and welcoming.
- Pitching In: Support the team by assisting with light laundry (folding/stocking) and performing occasional safety walkthroughs (including quick pool chemistry checks).
What We Are Looking For
You don't need a lifetime of hotel experience—we will train you! But you do need:
- The "Host" Personality: Naturally articulate, empathetic, and excellent at turning a guest's bad day around.
- Tech & Math Savvy: Comfortable learning our Property Management System, handling cash/credit transactions, and helping a guest troubleshoot basic Wi-Fi questions.
- Reliability: We are a tight-knit, small team. Showing up for your shifts and your team matters.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift, move quickly around the property, and lift up to 25 lbs (like laundry crates or guest luggage).
