For 25 years Garrett Fastening Systems has supplied residential contractors with the tools and materials they need. We are looking for honest hardworking people to join our team. We have 5 locations throughout Central Florida and are looking to grow our Ft Myers branch. We have a position available for a jobsite sales & service person. No experience is necessary but it is preferred. Are you familiar with jobsites? Do you have any construction background?
We sell and deliver building materials to local jobsites. We need people who are comfortable on construction jobsites and working with customers. We provide paid training. We just need someone who is willing to learn and a hard worker. You must be a team player. We do not need anyone who is hard to get along with or who thinks he knows everything. If you want to be successful with our company you must be humble, patient, self-starting, hard-working, willing to learn, easy to get along with, and honest.
A clean driving record is also preferred. We have our own trucks so no personal vehicle is required.
The starting pay is $800/wk plus an opportunity to make an additional $1500-2000 per month commission bonus.
Don't think of this as a normal "sales position." This is more of an account manager position. You will be managing and servicing accounts of customers who buy building materials. It's a mix of sales, delivery, service and relationships. Our best salesman are not really good at sales. Our best salesman are people who can build good relationships with people and who can solve problems.
Most of our customers are Hispanic and speak Spanish. If you speak Spanish you need to apply for this job. Our perfect employee has a good driving record, works hard and speaks Spanish. Some English speaking is required. Hablamos espanol.
