Overview
Join our dynamic team as a HVAC Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential settings.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair Light Commercial and Residential HVAC systems
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems within HVAC equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to enhance efficiency and extend equipment lifespan.
- Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to repair or replace faulty components.
- Diagnose complex mechanical problems involving refrigeration cycles, ammonia refrigeration systems, and electrical controls.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders promptly, and communicate effectively with clients regarding system status and recommendations.
Requirements
- Service technician experience with hands-on knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems.
- Strong understanding of schematics, mechanical systems repair, electrical diagnostics, and HVAC design principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC system maintenance practices.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Certifications such as EPA refrigerant handling certification are required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
