Maintenance Worker – Mobile Home Community
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Worker to help maintain two residential mobile home communities in Fort Pierce.
This is a physical, hands-on position. The right person should be comfortable working outdoors, handling plumbing and sewer issues, and performing a variety of general maintenance and groundskeeping tasks.
Responsibilities include:
- Mowing and maintaining lawns and common areas
- Snaking sewer lines and responding to sewer backups
- Repairing and replacing water pipes
- Responding to water and sewer emergencies
- Cleaning lift station trash baskets (rag catchers)
- Reading water meters
- Park cleanup and general grounds maintenance
- Pressure washing
- Asphalt patching
- Painting
- Installing posts, signs, and smoke detectors
- General repairs and maintenance throughout the community
- Other maintenance duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous lawn care and plumbing experience required
- Must be comfortable performing physical labor and working outdoors
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Clean background
- Must be available for on-call emergencies
- Able to work independently and take direction when needed
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Pay: Based on experience and qualifications.
