Position Overview: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and caring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care, ensuring the well-being of our residents, and creating a nurturing atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:
- Compassionate Care: Deliver nursing services tailored to individual care plans while assisting residents with daily living activities.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, closely monitoring for effectiveness and any side effects.
- Health Monitoring: Conduct health assessments, meticulously documenting residents' statuses and promptly reporting changes to the nursing team.
- Team Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to coordinate optimal resident care.
- Education & Support: Provide residents and their families with vital information regarding health management and wellness.
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of New Jersey.
- Previous nursing experience, preferably in assisted living or similar settings.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with excellent organizational abilities.
