JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and professional On-Site Recruiter to support our staffing operations at a client location in Pico Rivera, CA. The On-Site Recruiter will be responsible for recruiting, screening, onboarding, and supporting temporary employees while maintaining strong communication with both the client and staffing agency.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities while providing excellent customer service to both clients and employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit and source qualified candidates to meet client staffing needs.
- Conduct candidate interviews and pre-screening to determine qualifications and job fit.
- Coordinate interviews, orientations, onboarding, and start dates for new hires.
- Complete and maintain accurate employee records and required documentation.
- Assist candidates with the onboarding process, including completing required paperwork and providing company policies and procedures.
- Communicate daily with employees regarding attendance, schedules, assignments, and workplace concerns.
- Monitor employee attendance and punctuality and communicate attendance issues to management.
- Maintain regular communication with the client regarding staffing needs, employee performance, attendance, and staffing updates.
- Respond quickly to client requests for new hires, replacements, and additional staffing support.
- Help resolve employee and client concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Conduct regular check-ins with employees to ensure they are satisfied and successful in their assignments.
- Assist with employee retention and engagement efforts.
- Maintain accurate staffing reports, employee rosters, and other administrative records.
- Ensure employees understand job expectations, schedules, safety requirements, and workplace policies.
- Support employee relations and escalate issues when necessary.
- Assist with payroll and timecard verification, if required.
- Perform other recruiting, staffing, and administrative duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or office administration is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and positive attitude with strong customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, candidates, and client management.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling.
- Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
