We’re looking for a warm, dependable, and safety-minded person for a long-term, flexible part-time position helping our family get to appointments, activities, and errands throughout Los Angeles.
Driving a parent and child is the primary responsibility. You’ll also provide light assistance with getting ready for outings, such as helping with the stroller, bags, and car seat.
Schedule
This is a flexible, part-time role.
Appointments are typically scheduled between:
- Monday, Tuesday, and/or Wednesday: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
- Saturday and/or Sunday: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Most shifts are 3–4hours. You are paid for the entire scheduled shift, including waiting during appointments or activities.
We’ll share upcoming shifts at least one week in advance, and you can choose the ones that fit your availability. There is no requirement to accept every shift.
Pay & Benefits
- $35–$37 per hour, depending on experience
- Paid as a W-2 employee through payroll
- Direct deposit twice per month
- Mileage reimbursement for work-related driving
- Paid sick time accrual
Responsibilities
- Drive a parent and child to appointments, activities, and errands throughout Los Angeles
- Help prepare for outings by assisting with the car seat, stroller, bags, and other supplies
- Load and unload items from the vehicle as needed
Requirements
- Warm, dependable, and proactive
- Safe driver with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving throughout Los Angeles
- Have access to a clean, smoke-free, well-maintained midsize or larger sedan or SUV with comfortable rear seating and working air conditioning
- Have a valid California driver’s license and a vehicle with current California registration and California auto insurance
- Willing to complete a fingerprint-based background check before employment
Experience in family assistance, caregiving, childcare, customer service, or rideshare driving is a plus, but not required.
