Job Description
This is a full time position. Job duties are as follows :
1. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with community leaders, law enforcement, victim services, and business and community agencies.
2. Develop and nurture partnerships with employers, educators, and service providers who provide juveniles with opportunities for competency development.
3. Help educate the community regarding their role in a balanced and restorative juvenile justice system.
4. Encourage and support the community in delinquency prevention activities and in efforts to assist in monitoring of juvenile offenders.
5. Encourage and support the community's efforts to provide assistance to crime victims, their families and their support systems.
6. Maintains weekly contact with referral source.
7. Communicates and networks with outside officials, courts, schools and community services as necessary.
8. Attends training's, staff meetings, court hearings and seminars as required.
9. Attends formal supervision weekly.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive to client's homes.
- Must have current ACT 33 and ACT 34 and FBI clearances.
- Must be able to navigate stairs and be in good general health.
- Must be computer proficient in Word Processing and have basic typing skills.
- Must be able to work non-traditional hours and some weekend work.
