## Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess knowledge in various aspects of veterinary medicine. ## Responsibilities - Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures - Handle and restrain animals during treatment - Administer medications as directed by the veterinarian - Perform laboratory procedures such as blood draws and urinalysis - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary clinic - Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners - Monitor and record vital signs of animals ## Qualifications - Knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and husbandry - Experience in pet care, kennel work, or pet sitting is a plus - Familiarity with basic veterinary practices and terminology - Understanding of aseptic techniques for maintaining a sterile environment - Ability to assist with veterinary critical care when necessary - Certification or training in dog training would be beneficial Join our team and contribute to the well-being of our furry friends while gaining valuable experience in the veterinary field.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
