Established and beautiful, high end, restaurant/ tea room, seeks experienced and dedicated wait staff individuals with a focus on delivering outstanding detailed service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. A reliable team player is needed to excel here. No late night hours. 20-30 hours per week. Weekends required. Must be able to work through the holiday season. 21 years or over. Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service and restaurant environments
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Familiarity with POS systems, including Toast
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash register operations and order processing
- Experience in fine dining and culinary settings is a plus
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take and process customer orders accurately using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist in food preparation and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Handle cash and process payments efficiently, ensuring accurate transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
