Job Summary

Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) by documenting patient encounters, updating medical histories, and ensuring precise medical documentation.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring a welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar medical office role with familiarity in medical office management.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, ICD coding, anatomy, and physiology fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management is essential
