Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with refrigerated or dry van trailers on over-the-road routes, adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Perform drop-and-hook deliveries, ensuring timely pickup and drop-off of freight without the need for on-site loading or unloading at each stop.
- Navigate using GPS systems to optimize routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently.
- Transport various types of freight, including refrigerated goods, hazardous materials (Hazmat), and other cargo requiring special handling.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards and vehicle maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, and any issues encountered during transit.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license with clean driving record; experience operating tractor-trailers preferred.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to handle manual transmissions and perform manual handling tasks related to cargo management.
- Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation is a plus.
- Strong navigation skills using GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, manual handling expertise, and adherence to DOT hours-of-service rules.
- Ability to load & unload freight when necessary, following proper logistics cargo handling procedures.

Pay: $2,097.70 - $4,526.26 per week
