American Traveler is hiring a Progressive Care Unit RN with Level I trauma experience for a night shift assignment requiring KY or compact licensure.

Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) caring for Med/Surg patients
-
Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
-
14-week assignment length
-
Every other weekend required
-
Floating required to other universal/progressive care areas within UKHC and Good Samaritan
-
Active KY or compact RN license required
-
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of experience at a Level I trauma facility required

PCU/ACU/Telemetry/Med-Surg experience required

At least one professional reference required for consideration

Provide nursing care to Med/Surg patients within a Level I trauma teaching hospital setting

Expected to work 3 of 5 winter holidays

Local candidates residing within 100 miles are not accepted for this position

Returning permanent staff must be separated from all UK-affiliated facilities for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
