RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance Floaters travel to all of the communities to service Maintenance related work requests. Maintenance Floater team members must have good mechanical skills, be hands on and be able to follow direction. They must be able to complete tasks such as measuring, cutting, sizing, and assembling. Maintenance Floaters cover a wide range of responsibilities which may include tile installation, bucket truck driving and kitchen and bathroom refinishing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Travel to various communities to service maintenance related work requests.
· Tile installation, kitchen and bathroom refinishing and bucket truck driving.
· Must be able to measure, cut, size and assemble materials.
· May be required to work with concrete.
· Must understand up to date building code regulations and company policies.
· Must offer outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with community staff.
· Responsible for laying paving stones, stones, pavement slabs, and other paving materials, creating aesthetic and durable surfaces both outside and inside buildings
QUALIFICATIONS
· High school education or equivalent.
· Some Carpentry skills. Must be good working with hands.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Heavy physical activity.
· May be required to move up to 85 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
· Indoor/outdoor environment.
*Must adhere to company no cell phone/texting policy when traveling by car.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
