Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces with precision and care
- Handle floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to keep all surfaces immaculate
- Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest comfort at all times
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to deliver consistent quality service
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction
- Support the overall cleanliness and organization of storage closets and housekeeping carts for efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments preferred; hotel experience is a plus!
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including industrial cleaning methods
- Familiarity with custodial practices and housekeeping management principles
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving supplies throughout shifts
- Prior experience with commercial or industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous
