Duties
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistent quality and presentation standards are met
- Operate POS systems to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, give correct change, and balance registers at the end of each shift
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders promptly, and serve beverages with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas
- Follow food safety protocols during food preparation and beverage service to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Assist with store opening and closing, inventory management by restocking supplies, and monitoring product freshness
What we're looking for
- Reliable — you show up on time for the shifts you commit to
- Friendly with customers, even on busy periods
- Comfortable on your feet for a full shift and lifting up to 30 lbs
- Available to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willing to learn recipes and get them right the same way every time
- Time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Texas Food Handler certification — we cover the cost, and you'll have 30 days to complete it
Nice to have
- Previous café, boba, or food service experience
- Bilingual (Mandarin / Vietnamese / Spanish) — helpful with our customers
