Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed therapist in Pennsylvania who is passionate about working with athletes, high performers, and individuals struggling with OCD, perfectionism, performance anxiety, and identity-related challenges. This clinician will join a growing private practice dedicated to helping clients perform at their highest level while building psychological flexibility, resilience, and overall well-being.
The ideal candidate has experience working with competitive athletes, student-athletes, executives, or other high-achieving populations and is skilled in evidence-based treatment approaches for OCD, anxiety, and perfectionism. Experience with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), CBT, ACT, and sports/performance psychology is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy to adolescents, college athletes, and adults
- Treat OCD and anxiety disorders using evidence-based interventions, including ERP
- Help athletes address performance anxiety, confidence, injury recovery, identity transitions, burnout, and mental skills development
- Support clients struggling with perfectionism, self-criticism, fear of failure, and high-performance pressures
- Develop individualized treatment plans and track client progress
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, coaches, trainers, and other professionals when clinically appropriate
- Participate in consultation, supervision, and continuing education opportunities
- Deliver occasional workshops, presentations, or educational content related to athlete mental health and performance

QualificationsRequired
- Active Pennsylvania license (Psychologist, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents and/or adults
- Strong clinical skills in treating anxiety-related disorders
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Preferred
- Specialized training in ERP for OCD
- Experience working with athletes, performers, or high-achieving populations
- Background in sports psychology, performance psychology, or mental performance consulting
- Certification or training related to sport and performance psychology
- Experience with CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based interventions

Pay: $1.00 - $3,500.00 per month
