We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional activities to facilitate recovery and improve mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment accurately within electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, wound care, behavioral interventions, and safety precautions.
- Support telehealth platforms by preparing patients for virtual sessions and providing follow-up care as directed.
- Manage wound care procedures and participate in hyperbaric medicine treatments when applicable.
- Communicate effectively with clients from culturally diverse communities to ensure understanding and comfort during therapy sessions.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to basic life support (BLS) and CPR protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in accordance with state or national regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices.
- Experience working with culturally diverse communities to provide inclusive patient care.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems for documentation purposes.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification and CPR training are required.
- Prior experience in wound care, behavioral interventions, or hyperbaric medicine is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
