As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be an essential part of the community. You'll keep apartments and common areas in great shape, respond to resident service requests, help turn vacant apartments into move-in-ready homes, and work alongside an experienced Service Director and onsite team.
No two days are exactly alike—and that's what makes this job interesting!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Fix It. Maintain It. Improve It.
- Handle a variety of maintenance repairs and improvements in occupied and vacant apartments.
- Complete resident service requests promptly—generally within 24–48 hours, depending on parts availability.
- Help turn vacant apartments into move-in-ready homes within 3–5 business days.
- Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment and property systems operating properly.
- Inspect exterior lighting and address or report issues.
- Help identify potential safety, maintenance, and property concerns before they become bigger problems.
- Use hand and power tools to get the job done safely and efficiently.
Take Pride in the Community
- Conduct daily property walks to help maintain superior curb appeal.
- Help keep grounds, common areas, and amenities clean, safe, and free of trash and debris.
- Work with the Service Director and Community Director to maintain the community at a high standard.
- Assist with projects and repairs that may otherwise require outside contractors, depending on your skills and experience.
Be Part of the Team
- Work closely with the Service Director and Community Director to keep the property running smoothly.
- Communicate maintenance concerns that could impact residents, property operations, or the community's success.
- Work professionally and courteously with residents, vendors, coworkers, and members of the public.
- Follow company policies and safety standards, including OSHA requirements.
- Help maintain compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Be There When It Matters
- Participate in a rotating on-call emergency schedule.
- Respond professionally and efficiently to emergency maintenance needs.
- Weekends are required.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Previous maintenance experience is preferred.
- HVAC knowledge is required.
- CPO license is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and exert 50 lbs. of force.
- Ability to walk, squat, bend, balance, climb, kneel, crawl, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
