The Role: The dish station is the backbone of the kitchen. You keep it running clean and fast so the whole team can do their best work. This is an entry-level position with a real path forward for anyone who wants to grow in a professional kitchen.
What You'll Do: Run the dish station before, during and after service. Wash, sort and return dishes, glassware and cookware to the line. Keep the kitchen clean - floors, trash, soak tubs. Support the BOH team wherever needed. Take pride in the station you own.
Schedule: Full-time hourly. Five days a week with two consecutive days off. Rotating holidays.

Job Details: You'll have a great relationship with your Sous Chef and Executive Chef, who will provide clear expectations and support to exceed in this role.

Sorting and rinsing dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through the dish machine

Sorting and stacking clean dishes; carrying clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas; rewashing soiled dishes before delivering

Changing dishwater in dish machine every hour

Washing pots, pans, and trays by hand

Removing trash and garbage and bringing it to the dumpster

Setting up and breaking-down dishwashing area

Filling/emptying soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions

Sweeping/mopping floors

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods

Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping required to perform kitchen duties

Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds regularly, such as trays with food and beverages.
